Creating Tree Diagrams

Within ‘Diagrams View,’ users can create a new diagram by clicking the ‘+ New Diagram’ button on the right of the page.

Clicking the ‘+ New Diagram’ button will open the New Diagram dialog where you will be directed through the process of creating a new diagram.

Create a Tree Diagram

1. Choose Which Type of Diagram to CreateOn step 1, select ‘Tree Diagram,’ under ‘General,’ as your diagram type.

   

   Next you’ll be asked to “Select which class of entity to use as the root entity” of your new ‘Tree Diagram.’

   

   Click the ‘Next’ button.

   

2. Specify New Root Action InformationOn step two, you will be prompted to input a diagram ‘Name,’ ‘Number’ (optional), and ‘Description’ (optional). Then, click the ‘Next’ button.

   

3. Congratulations!On step three, click the ‘Save’ button to save and automatically open your new ‘Tree Diagram,’ where you can begin adding and removing entities.
